Sea Freight
Sea Freight is the most popular method of shipping extra luggage / excess baggage or transporting items to overseas destinations.
Shipping items using containers may take a few weeks to arrive in their destination port of entry but the costs of sending items this way are cheaper than Air Freight costs.
Those sending the entire contents of their 3-4 bedroom houses will utilise a 20ft or 40ft container. However, not everybody needs this (please refer to our groupage service, below)
Sea freight is the cheapest and most convenient way to send 1-10 boxes of personal effects overseas.
Not everyone needs to use an entire container. Voyage shipping allows you to share containers with other shippers to further reduce the cost of sending your items overseas. This is now far less expensive and with a little forward planning also saves time and worry with our daily collection service throughout the UK.
Air Freight
This involves moving goods by air. Generally, air freight is more expensive service than sea freight, even with personal effects. It is of course a far faster way of sending packages of personal items to overseas destinations. Air freight costs are also more sensitive to physical weight than sea freight.

Groupage
Groupage is a service that we offer that provides a certain amount of space within a container that may be used with other customers items. Therefore, this can be a cost-effective alternative for shipping a smaller quantity of items. The cost for this service will be based on the volume of items.
